About Before Breakfast

Before Breakfast typeface, a hand-drawn font created in 10 minutes on my iPad. It only has one style, and that is regular—In total, it has over 300 glyphs.

The inspiration for this font struck me during a little personal challenge: to craft a font within the constraints of a 10-minute window. Armed with just my iPad and a rumbling tummy, I had a clear goal in mind. The quicker I wrapped it up, the sooner I'd savour my morning meal. And that, my friends, is how Before Breakfast earned its simple and straightforward name!

It was a whirlwind process where spontaneity and inspiration collided. There was no time for perfection; instead, I embraced the quirks and imperfections that emerged.

It's a font born of morning inspiration and fueled by caffeine.

It's the kind of font you'd want to have a cup of coffee with before you dive into your day – relaxed, approachable, and full of character (pun intended).

If Font Before Breakfast were a celebrity

If Font Before Breakfast were a celebrity, it would be the spontaneous and unconventional comedian Robin Williams. Just as Robin Williams was known for his lightning-fast wit and ability to improvise Before Breakfast font captures the essence of spontaneity and creativity.
